Veterinary MRI With a Direct Surgical Pathway
Veterinary Outpatient MRI is affiliated with Soderstrom Veterinary Surgery, giving pet owners and referring veterinarians an optional path from advanced imaging to surgical treatment.
When an MRI identifies a condition that may require neurological, spinal, orthopedic or soft-tissue surgery, Dr. Mark Soderstrom can evaluate the case and, when appropriate, perform the procedure through Soderstrom Veterinary Surgery.
Pet owners are never required to use this option. MRI images and reports can be transferred to the pet’s primary veterinarian or any surgeon selected by the owner or referring veterinarian.

Repair and stabilization of broken bones using plates, screws, pins or other fixation techniques appropriate for the injury.

Surgical biopsy or removal of tumors and abnormal tissue, with the goal of obtaining a diagnosis and controlling local disease.
